Woodview Learning Centre is proud to offer the Secondary alternative skills program to students who are 14 or older as an alternative placement to traditional high school. The Secondary Alternative Skills program maintains basic academic skills, in addition to learning life skills as well as vocational skills. Here your child will learn independent abilities both in the classroom and in the community.
At the Learning Centre we know the importance of early interventions. Woodview Learning Centre offers smaller class sizes for children aged 6-13 years old who are looking to begin their educational journey while following a modified Ontario Curriculum. With small group ratios our skilled Ontario Curriculum Instructors aim to ensure a positive learning environment for your child. Our instructors modify the Ontario Curriculum in collaboration with the SERT to ensure the child is reaching their fullest potential while simultaneously enjoying their learning experience. In addition to an academic focus we offer weekly social and community outings.
The School Readiness Program may be an option for your child if they require additional support to prepare them for the Woodview Learning Centre Elementary or Secondary Programs.
Woodview Learning Centre’s school day has a staggered start to finish schedule to accommodate families’ commute.
At Woodview Learning Centre each student maximizes their potential in a supportive and motivating environment.
