Ashley is the Interim Program Manager at Woodview Learning Centre. After being an active Instructor in the program for six years, Ashley has taken her love for leadership and organization into the new role as Program Manager. At an early age she developed a passion for making a difference in other people’s lives. She strives to ensure success in all her student’s day to day activities. Ashley comes with over 10 years of experience working with individuals that have autism. Organization, program planning, behaviour intervention, and educational modification are all skills Ashley strives to demonstrate on a daily basis.
Ashley graduated with honours from Mohawk College in 2011 from the Recreation Therapy program. The following year she completed her Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences (Mohawk College). Through her schooling and placement at various different ABA schools, Ashley gained essential knowledge and experience in both Intensive Behaviour Intervention as well as Applied Behaviour Analysis. Ashley began a placement at Woodview Learning Centre in 2013 and was hired on as a staff that year. She has been a vital part of Woodview’s team for the past six years and strives to create an amazing work environment for all the students and staff she works with. Ashley is certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), first aid and CPR, as well as Horticulture Therapy.
